Star Story of the Month: Celebrating Our Successful IVF Journey

For five long years, time seemed to be slipping away for the patient as she grappled with infertility. Each year brought its own set of challenges and disappointments, including three unsuccessful intrauterine insemination (IUIs) and a disappointing IVF cycle where only a few eggs were retrieved despite her polycystic ovarian disease (PCOD). Normal semen analysis results and her uterus being of normal size, her hopes were dwindling.

Desperate for a breakthrough, she and her husband turned to Ayushman Infertility Centre in Dwarka, Delhi. The center offered a glimmer of hope with a comprehensive approach to their situation. Upon thorough assessment, the team at Ayushman correctly diagnosed her condition and recommended a tailored treatment plan. This included IVF with her self-eggs and a Frozen Embryo Transfer (FET), complemented by Intravenous Immunoglobulins to improve the chances of success.

The treatment plan was meticulously executed. During the egg retrieval procedure, a specialized approach was used: one ovary was accessed through a transvaginal ultrasound-guided (TVS) method, while the other was approached abdominally. This innovative technique aimed to maximize the number of eggs retrieved despite the challenges posed by PCOD.

Our hard work and dedication soon paid off. She was thrilled when she received a positive pregnancy test after the first cycle. Her joy was palpable, but the excitement was tempered with a touch of nervousness. A transvaginal ultrasound soon confirmed their hopes: She was carrying twins. The sight of two healthy, heartbeats flickering on the screen was more than she could have imagined.

This successful IVF journey, marked by Our expert care and a personalized treatment plan, brought her and her husband the family they had dreamed of. Their story stands as a testament to the transformative power of advanced fertility treatments and compassionate care.
